Tune in to the public television series “Live from the Artists Den” to see an intimate, private Hold Steady concert recorded in New York City at the Old Emigrant Savings Bank Building, a lavish former bank built in 1908.
Each week, the hour-long series spotlights an extraordinary artist performing in an extraordinary setting, along with artist interviews and insights about the unconventional venues chosen.
Of playing in the unique room, singer Craig Finn said before the show, “It takes the barrier out and you know your fans are right there, which makes you do something a little different that what you’re used to doing.”
